Palatine is where our crew and equipment start every day. We polish, coat and repair concrete floors for local businesses and homeowners.
Palatine is the town we know best, because our crew and equipment are based here. Most of the business floors we see sit along Northwest Highway and Rand Road: retail strips, small showrooms, offices on a slab, and the light-industrial and flex buildings that house contractors, distributors and repair shops. Many of those slabs are decades old. Saw cuts have spalled, past tenants left patches, and there is often a layer of paint, tile glue or worn epoxy to deal with first.
Homes in Palatine bring a different mix. Many houses have an attached two-car garage, and many have a basement or lower level that families want to turn into a gym, a playroom or a workshop.
For showrooms, warehouses and shop floors we usually recommend polished concrete. We grind the slab flat, harden it with a densifier and polish it, so there is no coating to peel when pallet jacks and carts roll across it all day. Upkeep is a dust mop and an occasional scrub.
When a business needs color, safety striping or resistance to oil and chemicals, a commercial coating is the better choice. Before either one, many older slabs in town need grinding and repair: we remove old coatings, fill cracks and rebuild broken joints, so the new floor sits on a sound base.
Because the day starts in Palatine, a visit to measure your floor and check the slab is a short trip for us. Short travel also helps on jobs that run over several days: the crew can arrive early, work around your opening hours and come back for the next coat without a long drive. Arlington Heights, Rolling Meadows, Inverness and Barrington are only minutes away.

Questions
Often, yes. We can split the floor into sections so part of the space keeps working, and plan each section around your hours. Tell us when you are open when you ask for a quote.
